Happy 4th Birthday Alex!
Our little guy turned 4 on August 19th. This year Alex wanted to have a superhero themed birthday party. Since his birthday is August, we are limited in what kinds out outdoor activities we can do, unless there is water involved
. Unfortunately our backyard is a little too sloped for blow up pools and slip-n-slides, so my parents offered to host it at their house, which worked perfectly. They have a large, flat backyard, which made for a great set up. Alex and his friends really enjoyed themselves. It ended up being a very hot afternoon, so all us adults were melting, but the kids had a blast and stayed cool in the water. 
On Alex's actualy birthday, we invited a couple of neighbors over for cupcakes and swimming in the small blow up pool. Alex adores our neighbor, Brandon. He's a 9 year old, who is as sweet as can be and loves playing with Alex. It made Alex's day to have Brandon come over and play with him on his birthday.
